Multiply knowledge and strength
Parents2 supports the Ukrainian parents of children with disabilities. Parents2 enables parents who have specific ideas to dream about brighter futures for their children, and help them to realise those dreams.
We achieve this by bringing the parents in contact with each other, offering courses and training and guidance about the execution of their projects. When parents cooperate with a shared vision and values, and bring together their knowledge and experiences, they are able to improve their disabled children’s opportunities in life.
What we do
Parents2 supports Ukrainian parents of disabled children through three core activities for parent communities: networking, equipping and fundraising.
Networking
Parents2 assists parent organizations with building and expanding reliable networks. This enables them to share knowledge, experience, dreams and future plans with each other and professionals in care and education. This can be in their immediate environment, country but also other countries.
Equipment
Parents2 arranges courses, workshops and conferences for parent organizations on local, regional and national levels.
Fundraising
Parents2 assists parents in drafting good business plans at the beginning of projects with the aim of financial independence. We raise funds for the beginning stages of projects, because this is where funds are needed the most.
